Enamel Pins for Writers, Introverts, and Mississippians
I'm too afraid to say certain things out loud, so I put them on pins.
I designed a collection of enamel pins to celebrate my introversion and to express things that I'm too scared to say out loud.
Initially I wanted to manufacture just one pin of each design. But then I decided to produce them in bulk and sell them online.
Building a brand from the ground up is hard in a space that is already saturated. I reached out to Pinultimate.co to see if they'd be interested working with me. I sent them my designs, and they in turn worked with a manufacturer to produce my introvert enamel pins branded under my alter ego Susie Hustle.
I then designed a Mississippi pin collection that's now available on Etsy. I was inspired to do this because I had just moved back to Mississippi, my home state. I also added pin designs specific to my hometown Greenwood.
